Technically responsible for integrating risk management principles throughout the equipment project lifecycle, ensures that potential risks associated with equipment design, assembly, and use are systematically identified, analyzed, evaluated, and controlled in compliance with applicable standards.
Lead and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for all quality-related issues, including deviations identified through customer feedback, internal processes, and supplier performance, to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Establish and maintain comprehensive QA protocols and procedures throughout the entire project life cycle, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with project management, design, production, and testing teams to define appropriate quality control gates and equipment qualification plan to ensure smooth equipment delivery.
Partner with the procurement team to support supplier development, qualification, and ongoing performance management, ensuring consistent delivery of quality materials and components.
Provide technical leadership in QA methodologies, offering guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers to build team capability and ensure best practices are upheld.
Support site-level quality initiatives, including strategy deployment, QMS implementation, internal and external audits, and documentation control.
Contribute to the development and implementation of digital systems within the Business Unit to enhance quality data management, traceability, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, Quality Assurance, or other relevant technical disciplines.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Highly motivated, structured, and methodical, demonstrating a high level of initiative and ownership.
Strong execution mindset, with the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of quality standards and methodologies, including ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and the 6 Quality Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance within a mechanical manufacturing environment.
Preferably with practical exposure to Equipment Making and /or Precision Machining processes.
On-site work required, Monday to Friday.
