Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with company objectives and customer needs.
Product Roadmap: Define and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features, updates, and new products based on market research, user feedback, and business goals.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging industry trends. Use insights to inform product direction and positioning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to bring products to market and enhance existing ones. Ensure alignment across all departments on product goals and strategies.
Requirements Gathering: Translate customer needs and business goals into detailed product requirements, user stories, and specifications for development teams.
Product Development Lifecycle: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through development, testing, and launch. Ensure timely delivery of features and products.
Customer Feedback & Product Iteration: Continuously gather and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and the market to improve product features, functionality, and overall user experience.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to market strategies, including product positioning, messaging, pricing, and launch plans.
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key product performance metrics (KPIs) to measure success, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
Product Evangelism: Act as a product evangelist both internally and externally, sharing the product vision and engaging with customers, partners, and industry influencers.
Requirements
Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field;
Preferably an MBA in addition
3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in a technology or software development environment.
Strong understanding of product development processes
Proven experience in managing the full product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams and present product strategies and updates to stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Aha!, or similar platforms.
Understanding of market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis.
